TenneT has received 47 reactions to the draft investment plans 2024-2033. The new plans were published on November 1, and so-called views on them could be submitted for a period of 4 weeks. TenneT will use the coming weeks to process the responses. The investment plans will be submitted to the regulator ACM in early January.

25 years of TenneT: working together for a sustainable future

TenneT, in collaboration with contractor Equans/Smulders, has placed several artificial reefs near the offshore transformer platform Hollandse Kust (west Alpha) to gain further knowledge about nature-inclusive construction. This offshore transformer platform will connect the Ecowende (Shell/Eneco) consortium wind farm to the high voltage grid. The aim is to build this wind farm with a healthy ecosystem and as little impact on nature as possible. The artificial reefs are part of a series of ecological measures by TenneT to monitor and encourage nature around offshore wind farms.

The Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) published  TenneT's tariff proposal for 2024. Electricity prices in Europe rose significantly from the second half of 2021. These high prices have continued into 2022, making them about five times higher than prices in the first quarter of 2021. These price increases also affect the level of TenneT's transmission tariffs in 2024.

TenneT inspected six high-voltage connections in Drenthe, Groningen and Overijssel this week. During the flight, the helicopter took aerial photos and scans of high-voltage connections using special cameras and sensors. It is the first time we used a helicopter for this. Siemens Energy carried out the work for us.

TenneT has signed multi-year framework agreements with Allseas and Heerema Marine Contractors for transport and installation of at least fourteen 2 gigawatt (2GW) offshore platforms. The fourteen 2GW converter stations will be installed in the Dutch and German parts of the North Sea. The framework agreement covers at least twenty-eight slots until 2031; fourteen slots for transport and installation of a jacket and fourteen slots for transport and installation of a topside.

This is shown in TenneT's tariff proposal for 2023 published  today by the Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM).
