TenneT has drawn up a so-called 'Green Financing Framework' that serves as a framework for monitoring the sustainability quality of the projects financed by issuing green financing instruments. ISS ESG has carried out a Second Party Opinion (SPO) for both the framework and the projects in the portfolio. We report annually on the performance of the projects in the Green Financing Report.

S&P ESG evaluation
Standard & Poor's conducted an Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) evaluation on TenneT; an assessment of its ability to operate successfully, now and in the future. Standard & Poor's awarded TenneT the rating 'strong', with a score of 86 out of 100.
