TenneT puts much focus and effort on Contractor Management. We want everyone working for TenneT to return home safely at the end of each day. We want to work together with the best parties to perform our work. Suppliers who, like us, take safety seriously and perform their work extremely safely.
We regard our contractors as our partners in safety. Together with our partners, TenneT strives for a proactive and safe culture in order to achieve a good safety performance throughout the supply chain.
We want to engage in an ongoing dialogue with our contractors about learning from experience and pursuing continuous improvement. We strive for a safer working environment for all, with zero accidents.

Safety tops 2024
TenneT organises Safety Tops on a regular basis. We engage in a dialogue on safety with executive managers of our partners and exchange experiences. The international Safety Top Offshore was in March 2024 and will be followed by the Safety Top Onshore Netherlands in May and the German Safety Top Onshore in autumn.

Safety top 2022
To stimulate and conduct a dialogue with our partners, TenneT organises two Safety Tops in 2022 where our executive board and members of the senior leadership team engage in the conversation about safety and the associated dilemmas.
The first Safety Top for our offshore partners took place in Arnhem in July. You can find the report and the "harvest of the day" below.
