Publications in accordance to KraftNAV

The "Verordnung zur Regelung des Netzanschlusses von Anlagen zur Erzeugung von elektrischer Energie" [Ordinance on the Network Connection of Power Plants] of 26 June 2007, known as KraftNAV, dictates that the transmission network operator shall be obliged to publish certain information to assist parties interested in applying for a connection at their choice of site. This information is published here.

Power plant register / Schematic grid diagram

The KraftNAV Ordinance dictates that a common register of all power plants in Germany with a nominal output of more than 100 MW shall be kept. This is maintained by the Network Technology Forum in VDE (FNN) in Berlin and may be requested from TenneT by subscribers. (see contact address below).

Data for a power plant connection check

According to the terms of the KraftNAV Ordinance of 26 June 2007, prior to authorisation for a new power plant connection, a connection check must be carried out by the network operator. This is designed to ensure the safety of the system in the subsequent joint operation of the power plant and the network.
